The current Secretary General is Evert van Lieshout from KIVI NIRIA.
EYE Office Brussels
Since its opening in 1999, the Brussels Office of the VDI, the German Association of Engineers, is officially hosting EYE in the heart of Europe. The office in Brussels is VDI's official representative towards the European Commission and the European Parliament.
EYE Task-Force
EYE Task Force
The EYE Task Force was established at the council meeting in November 2000 in Helsinki to ensure continuous progress on EYE topics independent from the EYE activities, e.g. the preparation of proposals for the council meetings.
The EYE Task Force consists of nine members. Major achievements since the establishment of the EYE Task Force are: the EYE Information System, the current web page, the newsmagazine eye-contact, the eye action plan, the more professional preparation of the council meetings, the professional workshops at the conferences.
