What is EYE? We are European, we are Young and we are Engineers! EYE is a network of more than 150.000 young engineers from 19 (inter-)national engineering associations.
In late Spring 2012 our network will meet again in Rotterdam. From 1st to 3rd of June another great EYE Conference is waiting for you. Faris Ustamujic, President of EYE, and his team are currently developing an outstanding programme around the theme 'Engineering Connections'. Split up into four categories, this theme will be reflected by corresponding company visits, workshops and social events. Highlighting the necessity and ways to connect people, knowledge, energy and markets, this conference offers a useful space to inform and discuss about burning issues within the engineering society.

German Bundesrat approves new law to facilitate professional recognition
The Bundesrat (Federal Council) of Germany approved a new act in order to restructure and facilitate the process of official recognition of professional titles. Passing the vote of the Bundesrat is a major step in the adoption of new laws in Germany.
The new regulation decouples recognition from citizenship and therefore creates a legal claim for non-German citizens to receive an offical recognition within 3 months after application. The new law is meant to attract thousands of high professionals to work and live in Germany.
