In order to keep a close communication link to the swiss organisers of the upcoming World Engineers' Convention (WEC), the current Deputy Secretary General of EYE Tim Mönkedieck has met a swiss delegation at the "Engineering Congress for Alternative Energy Applications" in Kuwait City in early November. EYE aims to place its autumn 2011 conference in Switzerland - in parallel to the WEC. First concepts and ideas on the realisation were shared in Kuwait. EYE's early involvement in the organisation of the convention allows for a strong representation of students and young engineers and furthermore an outstanding event in the history of EYE.
