What are the characteristics of an EYE Conference?

The EYE conferences are the bi-annual major events of the European Young Engineers. They combine an interesting and varied technical programme with a full and tiring social programme. High-level keynote speeches, workshops to improve your skills, company visits as well as an insight into the culture of the hosting country guarantee an unforgettable experience for the up to 150 participants.

Every conference has some recurring winning points for the participants. These items on the conference programme are:

Key-note speakers

What is a conference without any speaker? Precisely, that's what we thought, too! Every organizing association is looking for the best speakers to give a speech at the conference. Because of the international public, the speakers are mostly international orientated.

Workshops

The especially for young engineers designed workshops are experienced by the participant as very positive. It turns out that the workshops fulfil everybody’s needs and that’s not strange. After all, personal skills improvement is becoming very important in a successful career. But you can’t reach these skills by doing nothing; you have to work on it! That’s the reason why one of the items of an EYE conference consists of improving the (inter-)personal skills. There is always a course you will like!

Their purpose is to introduce the participants to the business reality, the way a company functions, its activities and clients, its products/services and issues such as how companies plan their new marketing strategy, how they deal with competitors and other such challenges.

EYE-party

After a hard day working on your network and skills there must be time for relaxation. How can you do it better than party with your international friends? On the EYE party you can see your friends in a totally different way.

Culture

If you think the conference only exists of networking and improving your skill, you are wrong. In the programme there is always time planned for sightseeing. With EYE you go to places you never come with the tourist sightseeing tours. The organization of the conference will know the places where you can really experience the culture of the country.
