EYE Day in Cologne

Dear EYE actives, the next "real" EYE Conference is planned for June 2010 in Glasgow. From today's perspective, this seems to be far away! Too long for not doing anything inbetween. Thanks to Philipp Brzenczek you do not have to wait until June 2010: Join the EYE Day at the ODYSSEUM Science Museum in Cologne!

Here is the programme:

• meet on Saturday morning (11 AM) at ODYSSEUM Science Museum, explore the exhibition (200 experiments available) for 3-4 hours
• visit Cologne City Center and/or the Cologne Cathedral ("Kölner Dom") in the afternoon
• meet again at 6 PM at the Mexican Restaurant "Sausalitos" (There is a cocktail Happy Hour until 8 PM!)
• try to taste the diffences of various "Kölsch" in some old Cologne Pubs
• overnight stay at the Youth Hostel "Köln Riehl"
• joint Brunch (breakfast and lunch) at ALEX Restaurant till departure

This is NOT an EYE Conference with official support of one of our member organisations. This is in informal day proposed by Philipp and therefore has to be self-organised by everyone completely.
