megaphone AnkitKhandelwal Till past year, Denmark was a growing economy but it was also hit by 2008 recession. The economy has improved so far but it has not returned back to the old days. So finding job might be difficult in Denmark. Furthermore, skilled people in some stream are always in demand in Denmark, so if you are in those lucky ones, take the chance.

megaphone AnkitKhandelwal Salaries are quite high in Denmark compared to other EU nations. At the same time, tax can be higher too. But nevertheless, benefits you receive by paying taxes are worth, but if you are not planning a long term stay(more than 5 years), then it might be painful for you to pay such high taxes. So be ready for it.
Minimum tax is something around 40% and it goes up as your income.

megaphone AnkitKhandelwal Let me talk about it step by step:

1.Carefully read the job advertisement and try to figure out if the job is suitable according to your needs and qualifications.
2. Prepare your CV using the format you like to present, it is recommended in Denmark to use STAR method while preparing the CV. Europass format is also acceptable.
3. Write a motivation letter to tell more about yourself. It can be considered similar to the cover letter. Try to tell what are your interests, hobbies, plans and something more which is not listed in CV. Employers in Denmark are very much interested in looking for the fit of person in the organization. Sometime it can be even more important than just the qualification.
4. A word of caution: Do not send your application without motivation letter at least in Denmark.
5. Denmark is an open society and same goes for job application process also. In every job ad, a contact details is provided 99% time. If you have any question, then do not hesitate to contact the person. It is very much appreciated in Denmark.
