AnkitKhandelwal If you are renting a house, then it will be good idea to disucss about it with house owner. Gas, Water and Electricity are not included in the rent generally and user you have to pay for according to consumption. AnkitKhandelwal Denmark is one of the very few countries where both telephone and interent penetration is very high(98%) among the population. There are many telecom operators and you can visit any nearby shop to discuss your options before buying one. Some house owners provide internet connection(included in the rent). AnkitKhandelwal There is always a long queue for halls of residence for students, especially for the ones which are closer to university. In recent years, the problem of finding accomodation is growing and it felt especially by foreign students. AnkitKhandelwal Denmark has 3 big airports. Copenhagen, Aalborg and Aarhus. Among them, airport at Copenhagen is the biggest one and handle almost all the international traffic. It is well connected to the other cities in Europe. It is also connected to other cities in Denmark(i.e. Aarhus,Aalborg) by domestic flights. Copenhagen is very close to other city Malmo(Sweden), a hub for low cost airlines. Many people prefer to take flight to Malmo and then come to Copenhagen through trains. 08 Jan 2012 - 02:06

AnkitKhandelwal You have to register yourself with local municipality office to get the CPR number within 7 days of your arrival in Denmark. The process is very simple and you need to produce your passport, visa and copy of rental agreement. This contains address of the nearest doctor and contact details. For rest other details, it is adviseable to contact concerned departments or services.
